MG P-Type
Restoration | Paint | Trimming
Unfortunately, its past ‘restoration’ had brought this MG P-Type into some disrepair which we were able to rectify. Open lines of communication and discussions of progress meant the owner and our team were completely transparent about the final spec of this well-loved vehicle. Following the bare metal fabrication needed to rectify the years it had spent outside; it underwent a full body off respray in a custom two-tone red and the fitting of the correct new sequoia wood veneer. Additionally, all major components received extensive recommissioning, all completed in-house. The chassis and bulkhead were cleaned down and retouched before a new wiring loom was installed with the addition of some modern modifications such as indicator circuits. Our team also added a completely reengineered pressurised and regulated fuel system plus thermostatic fan. During extensive rolling road sessions carbrettor modifications were made to suit the supercharger.
