Mechanic / Restorer
Hours: Full time, Permanent, Monday – Friday
Location: Kingscliffe, Northamptonshire, PE8

Enthusiastic and experienced staff required to assist in all aspects of classic and vintage car restoration. Staff must be able to methodically disassemble, restore and reassemble prestigious classic motor vehicles to high quality, show-winning standards. Join our friendly team of specialists, with this opportunity to be fully involved and responsible for bringing back to life many prestigious and exotic project cars from a wide variety of locations and eras.
The ideal candidate will be a strong self-motivator, have a keen interest in the automotive industry, especially classic and vintage vehicles. It is vital the candidate has both experience and qualifications in this field. They must have sound knowledge and practical experience in mechanical building, reassembly, auto-electrical skills, and engine building. The successful candidate will be responsible and heavily involved with the whole process of vehicle restoration. It is essential the chosen person has a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills. No two vehicles at Project Heaven Restoration are frequently the same, and jobs can range from minor to full nut-and-bolt restorations. Project Heaven Restoration Ltd has a large workshop with a vast range of plant and machinery available to assist with all areas of vehicle restoration.
Responsibilities & duties include;
» General mechanic duties – body, suspension, subframe, interior, etc.
» Installing wiring harnesses, diagnosis, testing and repairing wiring faults.
» Overhauling and refurbishing components.
» Disassembly and reassembly of car interior/ exterior and components.
» Must be able to prepare workstation to accommodate clean-work environment.
